The first cohort of the Green Business Building Accelerator supported seven innovative Kenyan businesses across sectors including electric mobility, sustainable packaging, organic fertilizers and battery technology. Over a 3-month period, participants received tailored business support and mentorship from over 30 global experts, helping them refine their strategies, strengthen investor pitches and address key growth challenges. The program concluded with an investor engagement event, offering direct exposure to potential funders.

Focusing particularly on women-led startups, the 3rd cohort of the Green Business Building Accelerator highlights a new wave of Kenyan innovators. It features six dynamic enterprises ready to make a significant impact in sustainable construction, agri-tech, food systems and natural consumer products. Over the next three months, these visionary founders will receive dedicated mentorship and expert advisory support designed to enhance their investment readiness, help scale their solutions and accelerate Kenya’s transition towards a sustainable and inclusive green economy.
