Description
While the continent already has substantial local manufacturing capacity, facilities operate at a sub-scale 20% utilization due to structural bottlenecks, high debt costs, and uncoordinated duty-free import competition. By executing four key priority plays, such as establishing Kenya and Nigeria as regional hubs and enforcing local procurement for meters, Africa can capture 35–50% of this demand.
