Since 2013, the Africa Financial Services Investment Conference (AFSIC) has been the place to be for companies seeking funding to meet the right African investors and get the required investment. It is believed to be the leading gathering that brings together African investors taking place annually outside Africa and has become a key conduit of investment into the continent. AFSIC provides a platform for networking, discussions and executing African investment deals.

Manufacturing Africa (MA) made its debut appearance at the 10th AFSIC edition held in London in October 2023. The MA team of four comprising of the Team Lead, Transaction Portfolio Lead, Ethiopia Country Manager and the Kenya FCDO Advisor engaged delegates who visited the programme’s booth. The team made numerous contacts through the booth which turned out to be a focal point of contact with discussions ongoing throughout the two days.

The 2023 edition featured expanded country-investment summits to deep dive into the macro- and micro investment climates of many of Africa’s largest and fastest growing economies.
